MEET MORGAN GRANZOW
My name is Morgan Granzow and I am a medical and scientific artist from Michigan. I am the sole owner and operator of MoMed Visuals. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Design from the Stamps School of Art and Design and am a current MSc Medical Art student at the University of Dundee in Dundee, Scotland. My work focuses on anatomical studies and the human body, creating work through the lens of scientific and medical illustration. The field of medical and scientific illustration is beautifully intricate and a necessity, as there is an intertwined relationship between science and art, one cannot exist without the other.
My professional goals entails visualizing the unknown and using art to make education more accessible. Whether this is through journal publications or decorative art, I am here to make your visions come true. In my work, I prioritize diversity, representation, and accessibility as I am a Deaf artist and personally know the importance of making each community heard. Each client has different goals and I go at each project from a different perspective to ensure each client is happy with the outcome of my work.
Aside from art, I am passionate about travel, languages, and the outdoors! My life goal is to see as much of the world as possible and to embrace learning about other cultures. I've been to 11 countries (and counting) and love learning new languages. I am proficient in American Sign Language and Spanish, and always cherish learning new conversational phrases in various language when traveling. Additionally, I absolutely love hiking, skiing, staying active, and anything outdoors!
